Braves vs BoSox, FULL
The ESPN Broadcast got all the drama they could handle on a Wednesday night at the ballpark.
Spencer Strider dominated the Marathon-themed Sox for most of his 6.1 innings. In fact, he became the first pitcher in Braves franchise history to strikeout 10 or more batters in four consecutive starts. The benchmark previous to Strider’s Hump Day milestone was John Smoltz, who struck out 10 or more in three consecutive starts in 1996 on May 29th, (13 K’s vs Cubs), June 3rd (10 K’s vs Mets), & June 9th (10 K’s vs Rockies).
