Shortstop, Shewmake?
Dansby. Correa. Trea. Adames. Grissom.

Grissom.
Now: Grissom. Shewmake.?
Sunday marked the fifth consecutive day that Vaughn Grissom did not start at shortstop for the Braves in Spring Training. Even further, it was the fifth consecutive day that Vaughn Grissom didn’t play shortstop, period. Braden Shewmake got the bulk of the SS work over that timespan, who’s bat has seemingly started to catch up to his glove.
Others receiving playing time at shortstop during that span: Arcia, Park, Adrianza, & Hechavarría.
Shewmake’s arrival shouldn’t be TOO much of a surprise, really. Last season when the Braves legitimately had no one to play second base, Braden Shewmake was the first choice to be promoted. The only problem with that was Shewmake was injured at the time.
